Right angled triangle

Right angled triangle
In this topic let me help you go through triangles and specially on right angled triangle. A triangle in which measure of one of the interior angle is 90° is called a Right angled triangle or just a Right triangle. In Right angled triangle, the side opposite to Right angle is called Hypotenuse and the other two adjacent sides are called the legs of the Right angled triangle.

Triangle ABC is a Right angled triangle with Right angle at point C. Since the sum of all three interior angles of a triangle is 180°, therefore the sum of other two angles at points A and B is 90°.
The vertical adjacent side to the Right angle is called the Perpendicular and the horizontal adjacent side to the Right angle is called the Base of the Right angled triangle. Hypotenuse is the longest side of this triangle.
In triangle ABC, AB is the Hypotenus, AC is the Perpendicular and CB is the Base. The symbol ‘’ at point C represents a Right angle.
There are two types of Right angled triangle:
Isosceles Right angled triangle- A Right angled triangle in which the Perpendicular and Base are of equal length is called an Isosceles Right angled triangle. Since the angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are of equal measure, therefore the measure of each of the two angles other than Right angle is 45°.

Scalene Right angled triangle- A Right angled triangle in which all the sides are of different length is called a Scalene Right angled triangle. Since the sides are of different length, therefore the measure of each angle in Scalene Right angled triangle is also different.
